I expect the website to be unavailable for up to 2 hours sometime during the weekend. The website is moving to a new server. After the change over your web browser may still try to access the old server. If this occurs you will be automatically re-directed to the new server. If this re-direction occurs the only change you will see is the address in your browser's address bar will be http://www1.chessontheweb.com 

Please email admin@chessontheweb.com if you experience any issues.

The server move has been completed. It will take a while for the change in IP address to ripple through all the cached DNS info. In the meantime the alternate site (address starts www1) will function as normal and all moves will be applied to the primary site.

Well, so far so good. Only one issue has been encountered with the server move and that was with the tournaments page.

I hope nobody has been inconvenienced by the change over.

Can you check if the mails have been going to the junk/bulk folder? Because of the server change hotmail may think I'm spamming you. In the meantime I'll check my server logs and do some testing.

Nothing is showing up in my e-mail, junk or otherwise.

I've had to make a minor tweak to one of the processes. You should start receiving emails again. Apologies if you receive a flood of them.
